Homeless people should have the same rights we do have: if they look for a job, they must be able to get a job...

The prob is that many times they DON'T LOOK FOR A JOB. They are homeless because they choose that: maybe, while young, dream to live a bohemian life, maybe they just give a fuck of the system.

That may sound crazy, but I myself wanted to live like a bohemian some years ago... I'm just happy to have encountered love. Love saved me from being homeless (but integrated me in the roach system that is society).

Pleased to read you.

but wat i was askin is what can you do with it?
i mean after they have chosen this life, how can we act?
how can we change their mind?
or should we change it?
difficult to write about what i mean.

Mmmm... ok, understand.

Lets see... I know more or less about these "underground world" because I have spoken to several homeless people or really poor (and mad) people. I slept several times in the street (yes, call me stupid) and in bus stations, train stations or similar places. Its not a hobby of mine, hehe, but I like to travel a lot... and I have no money, so I usually don't stay in a hotel (if I have friends in the area, I ask them for a room... if not... I sleep where I can).

Ok, since I've met several of those people, I can say that... the vast majority of them live in really bad conditions. Drug and sometimes crime (here in Spain, the homelles aren't usually criminal, at least the ones I've met) have destroyed their lives.

Despite that, some of those people are brilliant, really intelligent and creative. I've met pseudo-politicians, writers, musicians and a lot of day-dreamers.They are really nice people in a really shit life.

I'm sure that they are happy with their decission, when they've decided to live that way, but sometimes they feel unlistened, alone, sad, angry with life. The WORST thing that they can do, but inevitably do, is TAKE DRUGS. I like the idea of experimenting with drugs (although I don't take them, I only "experiment" with alcohol and in controlled doses) for creative and onirical purposes, but those people, normally, go further: when they are depressed, they get some heroine or a couple of bottles of wine, and that's how they spend their lonely nights.

They are adicted to those substances. And those, specially hard drugs, normally heroine, are really expensive... and relate them with crime or even death.

I think that they would be happier if, on an early stage, when they are not addicted, the world listened to them, the world paid attention to their lives, their art. If they felt confortable with the world, they wouldn't descend to the drug abism that ends destroying their lives.

Once they are addicted, once they are slaves of their poverty and their vice, its normal that they end hating their life, hating the world, hating every day the sun rises.

Most of the people that I've met abandon the society in order to express themselves politically or artistically... if they are ignored... they simply die.
